Jason Sallee, 41, of Wilmington, Ohio, Remembered After Three-Vehicle Crash on State Route 73 in Clinton County
Jason Sallee, 41, of Wilmington, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, September 2, 2026, after a three-vehicle crash on State Route 73 in Chester Township, Clinton County.
The crash happened at about 6:27 a.m. near Williams Road, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Officials said a motorcycle and pickup truck traveled east as the pickup stopped to turn left onto Williams Road, while a 2022 Ford Edge traveled west.
The motorcyclist swerved, crossed the center line, and collided with the Ford Edge driven by Jason Sallee.
Jason Sallee was pronounced dead at the scene after the Ford Edge left the roadway.
The motorcyclist went to Clinton Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the pickup driver was not hurt.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Wilmington Post continues to review the crash with help from local emergency responders and county officials.
Jason Sallee will be remembered with dignity, compassion, and care by all who mourn this loss.
