Kathay Smith, of Prichard, Alabama, passed on August 19, 2026, at the age of 35.
Kathay was born on September 25, 1990, and shared life with family, friends, and the community through meaningful moments and lasting memories.
Those who knew Kathay remember a presence that touched many lives and left an influence that will continue through the people who carry those memories forward.
Two scheduled events will honor Kathay on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Mt Calvary Baptist Church, 505 Mt Calvary Ave, Prichard, AL 36610.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at the same location.
