Mary Elise is remembered by spouse Carlos Peoples, son Bryson Ray, stepchildren Carlos and Jayla Peoples, parents Ruth Yarter and John Yarter, mother-in-law Nadine Peoples, sister-in-law Tosha Autwil, grandparents Roger Yarter and Marianne Goodjohn, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Miller-Boles Funeral Home, 1150 Fire Tower Road, Sanford, NC 27330.
A celebration of life will follow there at 4:00 PM.
