Wayne Selby, 62, Remembered After Early Morning Motorcycle Crash on Page Road in Streetsboro, Ohio
Wayne Selby, 62, died early Tuesday morning, September 1, 2026, after a motorcycle crash in the 10100 block of Page Road in Streetsboro, Ohio.
Dispatch received an iPhone crash report at approximately 2:03 a.m., and Streetsboro Police, Fire, and EMS crews responded to the scene.
First responders found Selby off the side of the roadway with a silver 2009 Harley-Davidson Street Glide nearby, and officials pronounced Selby deceased at the scene.
The Portage County Coroner’s Office responded, while the Summit Metro Crash Team investigated the scene.
Crews also found live electrical wires nearby, Page Road closed between Hannum and Dunlap, and Ohio Edison repaired damaged wires after power loss affected at least one nearby home.
Authorities said they found no indication that another vehicle or passenger took part in the crash.
Selby lived and worked in Streetsboro, and the community remembers Selby with care and respect.
