Paul Dion Remembered After Passing Following Cancer, Multiple Strokes, and Dedicated At-Home Care
Paul Dion passed away after battling cancer in the brain, bones, and lungs, along with multiple strokes that left the right side of the body immobilized.
A fundraiser was created on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in Summerville, SC, after the family shared that Paul received at-home care instead of entering a hospice care facility.
Paul’s family described a selfless, caring, positive person who brought energy into every room and spoke warmly with everyone.
Paul leaves behind a brother, two sisters, a longtime partner of more than 20 years, a stepchild, extended family, and five grandsons who called Paul GrandPaul.
The family said Paul remained loved, missed, and remembered for kindness, warmth, and a steady presence during life’s hardest moments.
