Jerry R. Koch, 79, Remembered After Being Found Deceased at a Rural Moses Lake Residence on September 1, 2026
Jerry R. Koch, 79, of Moses Lake, Washington, died after authorities found Jerry inside a residence in rural Moses Lake on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Grant County Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives responded at approximately 12:39 p.m. to a home in the 8900 block of Travis Drive, Unit B, after a family member contacted authorities.
Investigators identified Jerry as the person who died, and officials said the Grant County Coroner’s Office will conduct an autopsy as the case remains under review.
Authorities also said they are not seeking any additional persons in connection with the ongoing investigation.
Sheriff Joey Kriete described the loss as a tragedy for the family and the community and shared condolences with those affected.
Jerry R. Koch will be remembered with dignity, care, and lasting affection by those who knew and loved Jerry.
